Athletic Potential Assessment
Our diagnosis does not “prescribe” a child to one sport. She helps to see his sporting potential in different directions and offers 2-3 options that are wise to try first.
Who should go and when?
Don't know where to go
Your child likes to move, but you are hesitant between several sports.
The child dropped out of classes
I had experience with a sports section, club or school, but the interest quickly disappeared.
Need to decide
The coach or school is asked to make a decision, but the family is unsure of the choice.
The child is small
He is 6–11 years old (in some cases 4–5), and it is important for you not to overload him.
How is the diagnosis carried out?
1. Preparation
The parent fills out several introductory questions: the child’s age, experience, possible health limitations.
2. Picture tasks
The child answers questions in the form of picture situations. The little lynx explains what needs to be done, the child chooses the answers without reading long texts.
3. Analysis of 39 indicators
The system calculates indicators in four blocks: psychophysiological, motivational-value, personal and cognitive, and also takes into account attitudes towards water and safe behavior.
4. Report generation
Based on the profile, the system offers 2-3 groups of sports and generates recommendations for parents and coaches.
What does diagnostics consist of?
Physical literacy
How a child moves, feels his body, and copes with basic motor tasks.
Motivation for sports
Why does he want to study, what is more important to him - the game, the result, communication, recognition, etc.
Personality and behavioral characteristics
How he behaves in a group, how he reacts to new tasks, how resistant he is to stress and change.
Cognitive component
How does he understand instructions, is he able to concentrate and complete tasks?
Swimming and behavior in water
A separate block for assessing attitude towards water, caution and readiness to learn swimming.
